I guess one of the reasons why its OK to drive off the highway up to Broome to see Cable Beach is because of the Camels – but its so much more than that … for one the wet sand just makes the magic reflections for the visually enhanced. Then of course its watching as the aqua milky water turns to blue and then black with amber, orange, red, magenta, cyan and more. Dont forget about the smell, of salties (literally) and camels of course. Its hard sand, like a highway about a km up the beach from the surf club, so yeah drive, then use your car as a table while you relax and chat and watch the earth take another breather for the night, outback style!
